Autumn in Geneva is amazing this year. I cannot stop
enjoying this wonderful weather and all magical colours around me. Unfortunately,
even the temperature is still acceptable it is easy to catch cold. I try to
reinforce my body every day and I start my mornings with lemon water. I think
so far, it’s my favourite morning drink. Really good before a morning
yoga workout!
Simple and fast to make and hopeful it helps to
protect my immune system. Before breakfast I drink it to wake up my body. I
started last year my adventure with morning lemon drink. At the beginning could
not get used to it but now I can’t start my day without it.
Since September this
year I add to my lemon drink the ginger and turmeric powder. Hopefully it will
help me to have a healthy fall and winter.
Ingredients:
- ½ lemon or 1 lime
- around 50 g of ginger
- one teaspoon of turmeric powder
Squeeze the lemon. Peel the ginger and put it into a
juicer (collect the juice). Mix ginger juice, lemon juice and add one spoon of turmeric
powder. Now drink a shot. If you like to have something warm in the morning just
add to mixture around 100 ml of warm water and drink.
